UX Strategic Planning

UX Strategic Planning

User Experience (UX) design at its most simple is about putting your website user’s needs at the forefront of all design decision making. Whatever your digital product, giving your users a great UX will increase your service’s uptake and keep users coming back. As a major part of your wider customer experience, UX strategy goes far beyond just your website’s user interface and can drive brand advocacy by infiltrating your entire business operation to exceed customer expectation at every touch point — meaning greater conversions and increased revenue for your business.

With broad pre-project business analysis and planning; user testing and post-live A/B optimising, I can help you to implement and deliver the best possible UX for your customers. As a freelance UX Designer I can flexibly slot into your project as required.

Wire Frames

Wire Frames

UX Wire framing deals with refining page layout and the steps in a specific user journey in response to a desired function. The benefit of wire framing is that it encourages pragmatic discussion around leading user activity to a desired conclusion, without the distraction of nuances such as visual branding.

The budget and scale of your project will determine the wire framing requirements and methodology — whether the project calls for simple sketches or polished digitally rendered plans, I can work with you to find the right balance.

Rapid Prototyping

Rapid Prototyping

A UX rapid prototype is an interactive wire frame built to closely describe the desired user experience of your website or application. Rapid prototypes allow for detailed UX user group testing on a hands on working model of a concept before committing expensive development.

Rapid prototyping isn't right for every project or budget. Despite the name, rapid prototyping is still a digital production process which can involve some development time. The best approach to building rapid prototype varies project by project. I am experienced producing rapid prototypes using specialist software such as Axure, or directly in HTML and CSS using the Bootstrap framework.
